Your Journey

Our Steps, from referral to ongoing care.

A simple walk-through of the process, so you know what to expect at each stage.

  1. Referral from GP or Nurse Prac.

A referral from your GP or Nurse Practitioner. You’ll need it to claim a Medicare rebate. ADHD assessments also require current investigations (bloods, ECG and a urine drug screen).

  2. Intake call

Once your referral is reviewed and cleared, one of our Clinicians calls you to walk you through the process and confirm fit.

  3. Clinical Consultations

60 to 90 minute consultation/s with one of our Clinicians. Health history, screening, and any questions you have. Your treatment plan is developed, and a summary letter goes to your GP.

  4. Follow up or ongoing care

Follow-up with a Clinician to review medications and confirm they are working well before handover to your GP. Where appropriate, our Clinician stays connected and provides ongoing support.

FAQ

The questions we hear most often.

See all FAQ
Do I need a referral?

You can self-refer, but a current GP or Nurse Practitioner referral is needed to claim a Medicare rebate. If you have a GP, get a referral. If you don't, ask us and we'll explain the next step.

How long is the wait for a first appointment?

Typically 3 to 4 weeks. Telehealth review slots are usually available the same week. We hold capacity for urgent referrals.

Will my GP get a report?

Yes. Every patient receives a written consultation letter back through their GP. Shared care is how we work, not an extra step.

Can I keep seeing you long-term?

Yes. Most patients move to a 3 to 6 month review cycle with your GP doing ongoing prescriptions. We stay in the picture for as long as you need us.
